Learn to love your sewing machine - Saturday 4th October - 10am - 1pm..

During this 3 hour workshop you'll learn everything you need to learn to sew.

Topics covered include:

• The parts of the sewing machine
• Threading a machine and winding a bobbin
• Stitch selection
• Starting to sew
• Setting tension
• Seam allowances
• Presser feet and how to change them
• Buttonholes
• Basic sewing machine maintenance

You can bring your own machine if you have one but there will be machines available for use.

Please bring a basic sewing kit.

Coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided.

Venue: Ringmer Village Hall (St Mary's Room)
