This is a five week course on Wednesday evenings 7.30pm - 9.30pm starting 24th September at the Village Hall in Ringmer ..
The course is £75 which equates to just £15 per session! You can pay in two instalments of £37.50.
We will learn the basic techniques of dressmaking including pattern layout & cutting, darts and shaping, seams, hems and zips.
You will be making a simple skirt using a commercial pattern.
No experience is necessary, this is a beginners course! If you have some basic experience but would like to go over it again this could be for you too so just call and we'll discuss whether it would be ideal.
You will need to bring a basic sewing kit (I can let you know what you'll need). We'll cover patterns and fabrics in lesson one so you can have them ready for lesson two.
Machines will be available for you to use but you are welcome to bring your own.
The course will be held in the main hall at Ringmer Village Hall which is lovely and light with plenty of room to work.
This is a great opportunity to learn with others, work together to solve problems and get excited about making your own clothes!
A deposit of half the course is required to secure a place.
